Siau Sun started her career as an advocate and solicitor in January 1998 in a firm which specialized in building  construction law, and later joined a medium size firm where she received extensive training in corporate and commercial litigation. In 2003, she entered the corporate sector as an in-house legal counsel for a public listed IT system integrator company, where she provided advice on contracts and related matters on a daily basis. She also assisted in negotiations

with both local and overseas IT vendors as well as the  company’s clients, many of which were MNCs and GLCs. Her in-house experience has helped her acquire an in-depth knowledge of the law relevant and applicable to IT contracts, and of the workings and practice of IT industry. In 2005, Siau Sun returned to legal practice and has since returned her focus to the area of practice where her passion lies - civil and commercial litigation. Siau Sun has been commended by her clients and colleagues alike for her analytical skill and her attention to details. Siau Sun believes that a well-prepared case increases a client’s chances of success, and very often provides the client far better chances of reaching an amicable and favourable settlement.

Michele’s experience spans over 25 years in building,  strategizing and conducting commercial litigation. Her training includes developing cohesive and strong coalitions, as senior counsel or coordinating counsel, to achieve positive results in complex or multi-party litigation. She also provides advice on regulatory compliance issues and litigation strategies for companies, its officers and shareholders. Apart from litigation, Michele also actively consults on and reviews contracts for

companies and businesses alike. These include joint ventures, partnerships, shareholders agreements and other related contracts.
