Seconded as lead senior counsel to the IT-legal division of a large telecommunications entity to provide end-to-end legal support for all IT contracts

➢ Provided legal support on a radio access network tender exercise including its commercial and technical aspects such as the scope of work, acceptance procedures, project timelines and commercial annexures

➢ Handled all documentation for the divestiture of a core business division including the master services agreement, the transitional support agreement and the share subscription agreement

➢ Provided legal support for all documentation relating to the development and implementation of a new billing system

➢ Drafted/reviewed and negotiated various other IT agreements (software and hardware) with local and international vendors including system integration contracts, implementation contracts, cloud agreements, maintenance agreements and cyber security consultancy agreements

➢ Handled the restructuring of the water supply industry in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur for a Selangor State Government entity and drafted/reviewed and negotiated contracts with the Government of Malaysia, the State Government, Federal Government agencies and private entities including share purchase agreements for the acquisition of the concessionaires for a purchase consideration of close to RM3.5 billion, termination of all concession agreements, drafting of operation and maintenance agreements for the operations of water treatment plants, the settlement of bonds and private debt securities and negotiation of facilities and other financing documents for financing of up to RM1.35 billion
